How to clear breach hives with U4GM efficiently in PoE 3.27

Message par Smsnaker235 »

Breach Hives are some of the richest and roughest fights in PoE 3.27. They give big packs of monsters and a lot of loot, so they can pay out well if you play them right. You should plan your run so you do not waste time or die early. One clear goal is to make steady returns for maps and to collect PoE 1 Currency. If you focus on the right steps, you will take more rewards and lose fewer characters.

Start every Hive by breaking the outer walls before you trigger the main fight. The walls act like gates and more walls down means more breach rifts will open. You should walk the outer ring and destroy each weak wall piece so the area can spawn more rifts when the fight begins. This step raises the number of waves and increases loot, so take your time to do it carefully rather than rushing straight to the center. Doing this is the easiest way to scale the encounter without buying expensive gear.

After the walls are down, summon Ailith and find a safe spot to hold. Ailith appears in these Hive fights to help, so you must keep her alive. You should pick a position that gives cover and a clear view of the main approach. You should place yourself so you can block side routes and watch the minimap for new rifts. Your job is to protect Ailith while she helps destroy cores or stops the Hive from collapsing. If she dies, the fight can quickly get out of hand, so make her safety your top priority.

Focus on area damage and wave control. Hive fights throw many monsters at once, so builds with wide AoE clear will do best. You should use skills that cut through crowds and tools that boost clear speed. Keep buffs and damage modifiers active before big waves arrive. Watch the minimap for purple rift markers and go clear those points fast so new mobs do not pile up. If your build lacks strong AoE, you should kite mobs into your damage zones so your spells or traps hit more targets at once. Clear fast and do not let small groups turn into blockers.

Keep your awareness high while you move through the Hive. Monitor Ailith’s health and your own resources. You should look for flanking enemies and stop them before they reach Ailith. If you get overwhelmed, pull the group back to a choke point and then burst them down together. Open areas work well for many builds because they let you use movement and space to avoid heavy hits. Avoid tight corners that trap you with slow enemies. Use potions, movement skills, and defensive cooldowns at the right moments to keep both you and Ailith standing.

Plan your farming route and how you spend loot once you leave the Hive. Some Hive types and the central Hive Fortress have many waves and better drops, so learn which maps spawn the bigger encounters and run those when you can. You should save a portion of your PoE 1 Currency for sale to buy key upgrades that let you push higher maps and do Hives faster. Prioritize items that raise clear speed, survivability, or resource sustain.
